Position Summary/Objective of job: The Baker 2 Team Member is an intermediate-level position on the Bake team with increased experience, skills, and responsibilities of a Baker 1. The Bake teams goal is to bake and produce all inclusions and variegates for the finished ice cream. The Baker 2 Team Member contributes to production by producing quality inclusions, variegates and moms for our ice cream by following recipes and the daily production schedule. This position requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to food safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Qualifications: 1+ years working in commercial food preparation, manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment. 6+ months baking experience. Knowledge of pertinent local, federal, and state health and safety laws and regulations. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 6:30AM - 5:00PM Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday,6:30AM - 5:00PM Knowledge and Critical Skills: Fluency in English. Good counting and math skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers. Comfortable working on a team in a manufacturing facility with other teams. Ability to uphold a high standard of service, efficiency, sanitation, and safety. Possess general knowledge of pastry skills and candy making. Comfortable with operating a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment.
