Embedded Software Engineer

***No C2C or outside agencies******This is a 12+ month extendable W2 Contract with good opportunity for fulltime conversion and include benefits offerings as well.***Seeking a Software Engineer 3 to develop and troubleshoot embedded real-time software supporting complex aerospace/defense systems. This role works in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborates with customers and cross-functional engineering teams.Location: On-site – Ventura, CA areaRequirements:U.S. Citizenship required with clean background check and drug screen - Must be able to obtain Interim Secret Clearance to start if you do not already possess a ClearanceBS in STEM + 5 years of experience OR MS in STEM + 3 yearsProgramming experience with Ada, C/C++, and/or C#Knowledge of object-oriented software developmentExperience with version control such as Git, Bitbucket, or ClearCaseExperience working within integrated engineering teamsPreferred:Real-time embedded software • Ada • C++ • Full software lifecycle experience on large-scale DoD programs • Agile/Scrum • Electronic Warfare (EW) systems • Green Hills INTEGRITY RTOS • Linux/Windows • DOORS • ClearQuest • Jira/ConfluenceResponsibilities include embedded software development, resolving software/system defects, peer and milestone reviews, and technical interchange meetings.
