Senior C#/.NET Developer (Hybrid 3x a week – Downtown NYC)Long term contractLocal candidates onlyRate $75-90 (depends on if W2 or C2C)Our insurance client is seeking a hands-on C#/.NET Developer to join a growing Enterprise Services team supporting the development of a new platform. This is a backend-focused role (no UI responsibilities), centered on designing and building scalable REST APIs, business logic, and data access layers using modern .NET technologies.The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing C# and .NET Core APIs, working with Entity Framework, implementing domain-driven design principles, and writing comprehensive unit tests.Key Responsibilities:• Design, develop, and maintain C#/.NET Core REST APIs• Build and support business logic and data access layers• Apply domain-driven design principles and best practices• Develop and execute unit tests and perform thorough application testing• Collaborate with a team of developers to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions• Contribute to architecture and technical design discussionsRequirements:• 7+ years of experience with C# and .NET Core development• Experience building RESTful APIs• Proficiency with Entity Framework• Experience with unit testing and software quality practices• Understanding of domain-driven design concepts• Azure experience preferred but not required• Ability to work onsite in Downtown Manhattan 3x per week
