The Business Analyst will bridge finance and technology, delivering insights, building dashboards, and supporting executive reporting in a collaborative environment.Business Analyst ResponsibilitiesPartner with finance and operations teams to gather requirements and define KPIsBuild financial models including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisAnalyze operational and financial trends to support strategic decisionsDesign and maintain Power BI dashboards with strong visual storytellingWrite complex SQL queries (TOAD or similar tools) for reporting and analysisAutomate reporting processes and improve data workflowsSupport migration of financial dashboards toward modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks)Business Analyst QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or related field3+ years of experience in finance analytics, BI, or business analysisStrong expertise in SQL and Power BI dashboard developmentAdvanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, Power Query)Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisAbility to translate business needs into technical solutions and present to leadershipPreferred Qualifications For Business AnalystExposure to Databricks or Azure data ecosystemExperience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)Python/Pandas experience for analytics and automationExperience in enterprise environmentsThis Business Analyst role is ideal for someone who can move between financial analysis and dashboard development while supporting evolving data initiatives.
