Senior Cloud Platform Architect (Cycloid / AWS / Azure / Terraform)Contract DetailsContract Duration: Long-term projectWork Model: RemoteLocation: EuropeSecurity Clearance: RequiredOverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Platform Architect with strong expertise in Cycloid, cloud platform engineering, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud governance. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) and cloud-native solutions across multiple cloud environments.This role requires deep technical knowledge of Cycloid, Terraform, cloud platforms, automation, security, and platform operations. The consultant will work closely with architects, project managers, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, document, and maintain solutions on the Cycloid platform.Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices.Develop reusable platform components and service catalog offerings.Design and deploy cloud-native architectures and application environments.Conduct Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and infrastructure prototyping activities.Support platform governance, security, compliance, and operational excellence initiatives.Provide advisory services on cloud provider selection and cloud architecture best practices.Deliver and manage cloud accounts, environments, and platform services.Troubleshoot complex cloud and platform-related issues.Participate in project planning, technical reviews, and stakeholder meetings.Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.Collaborate with platform engineering, cloud operations, and architecture teams.Required Skills & ExperienceCloud & Platform EngineeringMinimum 10 years of experience designing, implementing, and administering large-scale cloud environments.Strong expertise with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.Experience building and operating Internal Developer Platforms (IDP).Hands-on experience with Cycloid platform administration and implementation.Infrastructure as CodeAdvanced Terraform experience.Experience designing reusable infrastructure modules and automation frameworks.Strong understanding of cloud governance and cloud operating models.Containerization & AutomationExperience with Docker and Kubernetes.CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation experience.Scripting skills using Bash, Python, or similar languages.Security & ReliabilityStrong understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, compliance, and governance.Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.Ability to design highly available, scalable, and secure architectures.
