DishwasherPosition SummaryTrillium is looking for a Dishwasher to join our team at our Canton location! In this position, you will maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc. using machine and manual cleaning methods. You will also ensure the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe, and sanitary facility.Job Duties & Responsibilities:Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware, and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through the dish machineSort and stack clean dishes, carry clean dishes to cooks' line and other proper storage areas, rewash soiled dishes before deliveringChange dishwater in dish machine every hourWash pots, pans, and trays by handSet up or break down dishwashing areaFill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutionsAssemble/disassemble dish machineNotify manager any time dish machine wash or rinse cycle falls below safety standard temperaturesRemove trash and garbage to dumpsterClean and roll/unroll matsSweep/mop floorsSweep up trash around exterior of restaurant and garbage dumpsterConduct general restaurant and restroom cleaning as directedWipe up any spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dryAdditional duties may be assigned as necessary.Desired Qualifications & AbilitiesQualifications & ExperienceMinimum 1 year of dishwashing experienceKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesProper practice of sanitation and general hygieneMust be able to perform in a fast-paced kitchen environmentAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memosAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructionsAble to communicate clearly and effectivelyBe physically able to lift up to 50lbs, reach, bend, and stoopBe able to work in a standing position for long periods of timeBenefitsMedical, dental and vision benefits with no wait periodShort term disability and life insurance401k plan with generous match with no wait periodTenure Bonus EligiblePaid time offEducational Reimbursement ProgramMBTA Pass discountPPE ReimbursementTrillium Comp CardTrillium discountsPhilanthropy programEmployee gym
