DISPATCH SCHEDULING

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION The Dispatch Scheduler assists in all operations of the Morris Hospital Transportation Program, including: dispatching; patient assessment and scheduling; volunteer recruitment, training and scheduling; compliance with all regulatory agency standards and Morris Hospital policies and procedures; process improvements; public relations, and community education. QUALIFICATIONS Professional/Educational A minimum of 2 years of college is preferred. Healthcare experience and/or experience with the elderly preferred. Experience training and supervising others. Experience working with volunteers is preferred. Public relations experience. Computer experience. Current CPR Certification preferred. Current valid drivers license. Personal Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy. Exhibits a positive, service-oriented attitude. Is organized and able to handle multiple priorities. Possesses ability to communicate effectively with the public and service areas. Has ability to assess the needs of the customer(s) and develop new service features, as needed. Able to work independently in a fast pace, demanding environment and provide quality customer service with little to no supervision. Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
