Employee Child Care Caregiver (Part-time) - Jackie Carden

Child Care Center InstructorPrimary Purpose: Responsible for providing instruction and assuring each child is well cared for and safe at the CISD Employee Child Care Center. Qualifications: 18 years of age or older High school diploma, high school equivalent, or high school certificate of coursework completion as defined in Texas Education Code, 28.025(d) Acquire and maintain current CPR, First Aid and Food Handler's certificates Texas Education Aide Certificate or Child Development Associates (CDA) Associates Degree in Early Childhood or closely related field (preferred) Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of TDFPS minimum standards for child-care centers Knowledge of developmental milestones of young children Ability to work flexible hours, be punctual and demonstrate a positive attitude Display good communication skills and ability to receive and follow directions Strong organizational, time management, interpersonal skills and enjoy being around children Ability to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and adaptability Ability to work with diverse populations Experience in a licensed child care related fields preferred Salary: Minimum $12,278 (191 days-2025-2026) Salary determination will be based on verified relevant work experience.
