Corvid Technologies is seeking qualified Engineering candidates to join our team providing technical contractor support role with the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). This position will be based in Dahlgren, VA and located at a government facility. The engineer in this position will support Counter Unmanned Aeriel System Research and Development within the Hypersonics Division of the Integrated Systems Department.The position will play a crucial role in supporting Government and Military personnel to integrate new technology into existing capabilities. Candidate will be a major contributor to developing engineering plans, managing system requirements, and provide life cycle systems engineering support for various systems.ResponsibilitiesDevelop Systems Engineering Plans for weapons system integration onto existing weapon systems platformsReview weapon system requirements and develop ICDs Use model-based system engineer toolsRequirements Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess a Secret Clearance Bachelor's Degree in a related STEM discipline and at least 6 years of applicable experience (4 of which should be specialized in one area) Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas:systems requirements managementmodel based systems engineering design (preferred candidate will have CAMEO or similar tool) engineering software tool implementation prototype engineering design and product developmentintegration engineering, risk management, and test and evaluation engineering planning and executionIntermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPointAbility to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contactsStrong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a teamPosition may require the ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds as needed About CorvidCorvid Technologies is an engineering firm specializing in using high-fidelity, computational modeling and simulation to analyze, design and manufacture products for aerospace, DoD, and commercial customers.
