IT Service Technician - Helpdesk, Field, or Systems Administration

Job Description The Digital Architects (TDA) is growing and looking to add motivated IT Service Technicians to support our expanding client base. This role is designed as a general IT service position, with placement into Helpdesk, Field Service, or Systems Administration & Management based on experience, strengths, and team fit. About The Role As an IT Service Technician at TDA, you'll support small and mid-sized business clients through a mix of remote support, onsite assistance, and technical preparation work. Some team members focus primarily on helpdesk support, others spend time onsite with clients, and others support our operations team through device staging and preparation. Your specific focus will be determined during the interview process based on your background and interests. This Role May Include Work In One or More of the Following Areas: Helpdesk & Remote Support - Responding to user support requests via ticketing system, phone, and email - Troubleshooting Windows, Microsoft 365, email, and application issues - Assisting with account access, password resets, and basic security practices Field Service & Onsite Support - Onsite troubleshooting of workstations, printers, and network equipment - Installing and replacing computers, peripherals, and networking hardware - Supporting office moves, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements Systems Administration & Management - Assisting with the administration of IT systems and cloud services - Monitoring system health, security, backups, and patching - Assisting with documentation, standards, and system improvements Staging & In-Office Technical Support - Preparing and configuring laptops, desktops, and mobile devices - Installing operating systems, software, and security tools - Asset tagging, documentation, and quality checks prior to deployment What We're Looking For - Basic to intermediate IT knowledge (professional or academic)- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Clear, professional communication with both clients and teammates - Comfort working with Windows environments and Microsoft 365- Willingness to learn, take ownership, and grow within a team Nice to Have (But Not Required)- Prior MSP or helpdesk experience - Experience with device imaging or staging - Familiarity with networking concepts (firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi)- IT certifications or formal technical training Why Join The Digital Architects - Opportunity to grow into advanced technical, security, or project roles - Exposure to real-world business environments and modern IT stacks - Supportive team culture focused on learning and accountability - Variety in your work — no two days are the same - Clear paths for advancement as skills and responsibilities grow Additional Details - Role placement (Helpdesk, Field, or Staging) determined during hiring - Some roles may require local travel for onsite support - Full-time position with growth opportunity If you're looking for a place to build real IT experience, develop your skills, and be part of a growing team — we encourage you to apply.
