Great opportunity for Mechanical or Electrical Engineers interested in working in the U.S. on a TN Visa. Only citizens of Canada and Mexico are eligible for the TN Visa program.Duties and responsibilities:Work with outside electric contractors on existing projectsWhen installing pool electrical, ensure compliance with state guidelinesObtain permitsEnsure pool equipment bonding is up to codeMaintains automated records of all activities and prepares daily/weekly/monthly reports.Making electrical plan for new or remodeled sites: How much power does site require, putting together a list of pumps, heaters, salt system and other equipment that will be installed/replacedPrepares list of materials needed(e.g. conduits, wires, equipment etc..), quantities, researches cost and value prior to orderingPlaces orders, arranges deliveries, coordinates smooth operation in the filed between in-house crews and contractors.Monitors each client's pool automation operation on weekly basis and report to maintenance manager or service in event of any errors discovered:Inspect that systems are green and without errorsMonitor that dates and times are correct for proper equipment schedule operationMonitor temperatures in bodies of water and ensure that sensors are working correctlyEnsure correct schedule is in place for each piece of equipment on each siteSeasonal inspections of actuator valves operations(in person in field)Ventilation system monitoring for indoor/enclosed pool equipment roomsInspection of feeders communication with automatic systemsOperate with most popular iAqualink, Screenlogic and CAT controllers automatic pool systems for commercial and residential swimming pools.Monitor water and air temperature sensors, is sensor reading correct temperatureFrequent traveling to multiple sites to meet/get familiar with pool automatization setup on other swimming pools. Every setup is unique.Troubleshoot electrical problems as needed and follow up with customers Create estimates and offersManage inventory and keep common spare parts on hand.Over the time bring new ideas on how to improve existing processes Directly works with suppliers on a daily basisKnowledge/experience:Basic knowledge in automatization to follow the commercial and residential swimming pool operationUnderstand budget for electrical part of new or existing projects and manage it correctly.Delegate projects to employees and follow through, keep information flow between outside electrical personnel and operation managerEstablish and maintain good relation between ''in house'' employees and outside contractors.Maintain safe, quality and efficient environment for employees that under his/her in organization structure.Qualification:Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not mandatoryUnderstanding basic electrical requirements, and study US electrical requirements.Able to travel to other facilities within company to gain new knowledge Good MS office knowledgeWilling to learn and accept new ideas to bring value to the company
