In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and manage hearing and balance disorders for patients in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. This position offers the opportunity to deliver patient-centered audiologic care while improving communication, safety, and overall quality of life for a geriatric population.ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive hearing evaluations, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and tympanometryDiagnose hearing loss and balance-related conditions and develop appropriate treatment plansFit, program, and maintain hearing aids and other assistive listening devicesProvide counseling and education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding hearing health and device useDocument evaluations, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and in a timely mannerCollaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and care teamsEnsure compliance with clinical, safety, and infection control standardsTravel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities as assignedRequirementsDoctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) requiredCurrent state Audiology license requiredCertificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) preferredPrior experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings strongly preferredExperience working with hearing aids and assistive listening devicesStrong clinical, organizational, and documentation skillsExcellent communication and patient-care abilitiesComfortable working with the geriatric populationAbility to travel as neededBenefitsCompetitive compensation per annum: $30,000 - $60,000Paid Time OffMalpractice InsuranceWhy Work With Us?Make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniorsWork in a collaborative, mission-driven environmentEnjoy work-life balanceEqual Opportunity Employer Infinite Medical P.C is an equal-opportunity employer.
