BuyerLocation: Kansas City, MOShift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pmAbout the RoleThe Buyer is a key member of the EnSight Solutions Purchasing team, partnering with Engineering, Sales, Planning, and Production to procure materials that support efficient, cost‐effective manufacturing. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem‐solving, collaboration, and working in a fast‐paced environment.What You'll DoCreate and manage purchase orders; track due dates and supplier performanceMonitor inventory levels and material requirementsCollaborate with Engineering, Design, and Production to identify suppliers and materialsManage assigned purchasing categoriesBuild and maintain strong supplier relationshipsPartner with the Purchasing Manager on cost savings and sourcing initiativesParticipate in quarterly supplier performance meetingsSupport offsite locations as neededWhat You BringExperience:2+ years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment1+ year using ERP systems (Syteline preferred)Education:Bachelor's degree in Business or related field (preferred)Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Excel and OutlookStrong communication, analytical, and organizational skillsDetail‐oriented, adaptable, and action‐orientedHigh integrity and continuous improvement mindsetTeam‐focused with the ability to work independentlyTravelUp to 10% travel may be requiredPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsLift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionallyUse hands and arms for handling materialsVision requirements include close, distance, color, and depth perception(Reasonable accommodations may be provided)Additional InformationThis role description is not all‐inclusive and may evolve based on business needs.
