JOB SUMMARYOtodata is revolutionizing how customers adopt remote monitoring technology through our innovative Tank Monitoring as a Service (TMaaS) offering. TMaaS provides our customers with a turn-key way to deploy remote monitoring—with no up-front investment—helping them to optimize their delivery logistics. We handle all device installation and ongoing maintenance and provide state-of-the-art insights, alerts and diagnostics via our connectivity and software platform. This gives our customers the insights and peace-of-mind they need to continually improve their operations and grow their businesses.The TMaaS Business Owner oversees all aspects of Otodata’s TMaaS business, delivering on financial commitments, leading business growth, delivering for our customers on a daily basis, driving continual improvement in our service delivery, managing key customer, vendor and TMaaS team employeesMAIN RESPONSIBILITIESFull TMaaS business line P&L ownership: deliver on financial commitmentsForecast short and long-term results, inclusive of sales, revenue, expenses, budgets etc.Manage customer and sub-contractor deployed assets (e.g., monitors, accessories)Manage full business team:Customers (own key customer relationships, lead customer interactions, ensure accurate and timely reporting requirements met)Service Operations to ensure KPI attainment (Installation, service, etc.)Sub-contactors: Selection, negotiation, day to day management, on-boardingOwn all TMaaS operational and business processes and systems leveraging our Field Service Management (FSM) software platformCoordinate with Operations team for supply chain and production needsMonitor key performance indicators (SIOP, KPIs, etc), analyze data, and implement strategies for improvementDevelop long-term strategy to scale TMaaS across geographies and verticalsAttract, retain and develop High-Performance TeamsEnsuring business compliance with laws and regulationsSKILLS PROFILES AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation/ Experience/ CertificationBachelor’s degree10+ years in field services management (i.e., managing teams of technicians to perform work in distributed locations)KnowledgeKnowledge of the telemetry industry (asset).Possess strong financial acumen, managing the P&L, budgeting, and driving profitability.Skills and Abilities RequiredCustomer relationship ownershipProven experience delivering results in a fast-paced environmentExperience driving adoption of technology to improve field service deliveryAbility to develop and execute improvement plans for KPIsAbility to translate high-level corporate goals into actionable, short-term, and long-term milestones
