We are a high-growth company in activeacquisition mode, and our Finance team sits at the center of our operational and strategic decision-making.The Senior Staff Accountant is a critical member of BRTG's accounting function, reporting directly tothe Controller and working in close partnership with the CFO. This role supports the financedepartment by ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining financial records andassisting with various accounting tasks and serves as the day-to-day engine behind our financialreporting and lender compliance obligations. The right candidate thrives in a fast-paced, PE-backedenvironment, has a sharp eye for variance analysis, and brings a continuous improvement mindset toeverything they touch.Key Responsibilities Perform day-to-day accounting functions, including AP, AR, general ledger and bankreconciliation Lead and execute monthly close activities in coordination with the Controller, ensuring timelyand accurate financial statement preparation Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaid amortization, fixed asset activity,and inter-company allocations Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly and resolve open items on a timely basis Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial accounts to ensureaccuracy and completeness Monitor daily cash positions across operating entities and flag liquidity risks proactively Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements covering revenue,gross profit, marketing performance, financing mix, and Adjusted EBITDA Prepare regional and market-level P&L analyses across BRTG’s operating markets to supportregional manager reviews Coordinate with the Controller and external advisors on audit and lender diligence requests Support the annual budgeting process, including collection and consolidation of inputs, modelbuild, and scenario analysis Support M&A integration activities as BRTG continues to expand its acquisition pipeline Assist with IT-related capitalization and expense classification decisions and EBITDA add-backdocumentation Contribute to process documentation and internal controls development as the company scales Assist with ad hoc financial modeling and analysis and other duties as assigned by Controller orCFOQualificationsRequired Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity or multi-locationenvironment Strong technical accounting skills with hands-on month-end close ownership experience Proficiency in cash flow forecasting and variance analysis Advanced Excel skills; comfortable working with large data sets and building financial modelsfrom scratch Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present financial information clearly tonon-finance stakeholders Self-motivated and proactive, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challengesPreferred CPA (licensed or candidate) strongly preferred Experience in a PE-backed company, franchise business model, or field services / tradesindustry Familiarity with lender reporting, debt covenant compliance, or working with PE sponsors Experience with ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and reporting tools Exposure to M&A integration, acquisition accounting, or multi-entity consolidationsWhat We Offer Competitive base salary commensurate with experience Performance-based bonus program Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) with company match Opportunity for career advancement as BRTG continues its rapid growth trajectory Direct exposure to PE-sponsor dynamics, M&A activity, and strategic finance in a high-growthplatform Collaborative, high-performance team culture with a focus on continuous improvementAbout Black Raven Trades GroupBlack Raven Trades Group is a PE-backed electrical services platform operating under the MisterSparky franchise network across multiple states.
