Pool Repair TechnicianPool Scouts of Lake Norman and South Charlotte is looking to hire a Pool Repair Technician who is reliable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable diagnosing and resolving pool equipment issues in the field. This role is focused on troubleshooting and repairing residential pool systems. The ideal candidate understands how pool equipment works as a system and can confidently identify issues, recommend solutions, and complete repairs correctly the first time. Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with pumps, filtration, plumbing, heaters, and controls are essential. Pool Scouts offers growth opportunities for technicians who demonstrate technical competence, professionalism, and strong customer interaction.Primary ResponsibilitiesDrive to customer locations in a company vehicleDiagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on residential pool systemsPerform equipment repairs and replacements involving circulation systems, filtration, heaters, plumbing, sanitization, lighting, and controlsInspect equipment pads and identify both active issues and developing concernsClearly explain findings and repair recommendations to customersAccurately document work performed, parts used, and follow-up needsMaintain tools, parts inventory, and vehicle organizationSupport repair quoting and job planning when neededFollow company procedures and safety standardsCommunicate effectively with office staff and management regarding job statusRequired Qualifications2+ years of professional pool service or repair experienceStrong mechanical troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and manage daily workloadClear communication and customer service skillsAttention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to lift heavy equipment and work outdoorsWillingness to work flexible hours as neededValid driver's license with a clean driving recordDependable, honest, and accountablePreferred Qualifications3+ years of professional pool repair experienceExperience working with a variety of pool equipment and control systemsComfort with basic electrical diagnostics related to pool equipmentAbility to use a smartphone for documentation and communicationStrong problem-solving skills and mechanical reasoningInterest in continued technical development and advancementCompensation: $20.00 - $27.00 per hourPool Scouts is a professional take on the pool service industry, setting the new standard for excellent customer service.
