Lead Installer

Lead Installer Location: Kansas City Metro Area Pay Range: $25–$35 per hour (based on experience) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Lead Installer to oversee and install prefabricated handrail and guardrail systems on commercial and multi?family projects throughout the Kansas City metro area. This working lead role is responsible for performing installs while directing crew members, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with site supervision. Responsibilities Lead and participate in the installation of prefabricated metal handrail and guardrail systems Direct, train, and coordinate crew members to ensure efficient and accurate installations Read and interpret shop drawings, layouts, and project specifications Measure, lay out, and align systems for proper fit, finish, and code compliance Safely drill, anchor, and fasten rail systems to concrete, steel, or wood substrates Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and code requirements Communicate daily progress, needs, and issues with project management or site supervisors Plan daily tasks and manpower needs to meet schedule expectations Maintain a clean, organized, and safety?focused jobsite Operate hand tools, power tools, and lifts safely and effectively Qualifications Prior experience as a lead installer, foreman, or crew lead preferred Strong understanding of commercial construction practices Ability to read drawings, take accurate measurements, and perform layout Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a crew Comfortable working on stairs, elevated surfaces, lifts, and scaffolding Reliable transportation to jobsites throughout the Kansas City metro Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the workday Benefits of Working at Ultimate LLC?
