Clerical Assistant

Trustpoint has several openings with a respected plaintiffs’ litigation law firm in its search for Legal Assistants and Clerical Professionals for a short-term, fully remote project. This is a high-volume, detail-driven assignment ideal for candidates with strong Excel skills and the ability to work efficiently under tight timelines.This role is perfect for recent college grads with math or finance degrees!Responsibilities:Extract and review data from retainer agreementsCompare agreement data against lien notices for accuracy and consistencyPrepare accounting sheets to calculate award statementsPerform data entry, validation, and reconciliation tasksUtilize Excel to apply formulas and analyze financial dataEnsure accuracy and completeness across all assigned workQualifications:Prior experience in a legal assistant, clerical, or administrative roleStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysisExperience using functions such as SUM, IF, and VLOOKUPAbility to work with percentages, aggregations, and basic financial calculationsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage repetitive, high-volume tasks efficientlyWillingness to complete a 15–20 minute Excel assessmentSchedule:Fully remoteMust be available to work 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM PSTDuration & Compensation:Short-term contract, expected to last approximately 30 daysImmediate start requiredPay rate of $22–$25/hour, commensurate with experienceThis is a great opportunity for candidates looking for a quick-start project where strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential!
