We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Material Handler. This position reports to Materials Planning Supervisor and will work in Stuart, FL.
About the position
As Material Handler of the Stuart team, you will be involved in supporting the stockroom, receiving and shipping areas. This position picks parts for Job Orders to be sent to Production per the bill of materials. Receives incoming shipments of parts and supports the shipping department.
Main responsibilities
Pick parts for Job Orders based on a bill of materials (BOM) with timing and accuracy
Transport picked items to production areas as needed
Load and unload delivery trucks and ensure each incoming delivery matches the company Purchase order
Puts parts away in stockroom and deliver to appropriate areas of plant
Work independently in carrying out duties with limited supervision
Perform annual inventory as well as inventory cycle counts and transactions as instructed
Assists in shipping using UPS, FedX and LTL shipment systems
Drive forklift

Skills & Requirements
A suitable background would be a solid experience within manufacturing and material handling as well as the following qualifications and experiences:
High School Diploma/GED Required
Prior Warehouse experience in manufacturing environment preferred
Good working knowledge of warehousing, shipping, production and inventory
Basic working knowledge of Order Picking, Bill of Materials, Job Orders
Inventory cycle count experience
Familiar with production and inventory systems
Effective verbal and written communication
Computer skills. Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to lift heavy items up to 40 pounds, 50 – 75 pounds with assistance, stand/walk for long periods of time and perform repetitive motions
Forklift experience
