Shop Service Technician 4 - Heavy Equipment

Holt CAT is the largest Caterpillar dealership of heavy equipment in the United States. We are seeking an experienced heavy equipment Shop Service Technician for our Little Elm, Texas, located at 27600 E University Dr., Aubrey, TX 76227. This position is responsible for providing high-quality repair service on heavy equipment in a shop environment, in order to respond to customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner and to ensure maximum value for work performed. The position has a Monday to Friday work schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Job Summary: This mechanic position is responsible for performing inspections, diagnoses, and repairs of diesel-powered heavy equipment and/or related equipment or components, following established procedures and guidelines. Works independently or as a member of a team to provide mechanical services that satisfies customer needs and achieves departmental goals.Mid-level position – A Level IV Technician has a broad knowledge of the field’s standard and technical concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
