Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for performing delegated clinical, clerical, and administrative duties within the supervising physician’s scope of practice consistent with the MA’s education, training, and experience. Duties will involve assisting the medical providers in the direct provision of primary care medical services to patients of the clinic, and will include performing phlebotomy, obtaining medical histories, supporting patient care, and assisting practitioners during examinations.
Education & Training Requirements
Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program
Certified as a Medical Assistant
Current CPR/BLS Certification upon hire or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire.
