Job Description Community Supports Part Time Transportation Driver St. Clair | Union | Washington Part-Time | Monday–Friday | Consistent Schedule | $20/hour + Paid Training Help people get where they need to go—and make a real difference while doing it.ABiLITY is hiring a Transportation Driver to support individuals with developmental disabilities through safe transportation, community activities, and life-enrichment programs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, prefers a predictable weekday schedule, and likes a mix of driving and hands-on support. Why This Role Works Consistent Monday–Friday weekday schedule Midday hours free between routes Paid training and certification support Class E (Chauffeur’s) endorsement reimbursement provided Agency vehicles provided—no personal vehicle used for routes! Opportunities for additional hours through Special Olympics and recreation programs Schedule Split shift schedule Morning Route: Starts as early as 6:45 AM and ends around 9:30 AM Afternoon Route: Starts around 1:45 PM and ends by 5:00 PM Average 20–30 hours per week Additional opportunities for evening recreation events and Special Olympics coaching may be available. This is a great fit for someone looking for predictable weekday work, a second part-time job, midday flexibility, or supplemental income.What You’ll Do Safely transport individuals to and from programs and community activities using agency vehicles Support individuals during community outings, recreation, and social activities Assist with Special Olympics practices and events as needed Complete simple daily documentation and transportation logs What We’re Looking For Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Age 25+ High school diploma or GED Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation State minimum auto insurance coverage Class E (Chauffeur’s) License or willingness to obtain— we help you get it!
