Salary: $55/hr +Commercial Fire Protection/Fire Detection is seeking anexperienced Fire Sprinkler Fitter in Seattle, WA area. There's never been a more exciting time to join our team! As a Sprinkler Fitter, your responsibilities are to inspect, repair and service commercial and residential sprinkler systems. This, along with installs/tenant improvement will be done safely, efficiently and accurately according to blueprint specifications, building codes and the Companys commitment to quality.Please make sure you read the following details carefully before making any applications.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Service and repair commercial sprinkler systemsInstallation of new system, retrofits, tenant improvements and residential dwellingsReporting and reading plansInstallation of dry-pipe and pre-action systems installation of underground fire lines and related apparatusesRun new projects and complete system on time and correctlyKnowledgeable of NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14, 20, & 25Knowledgeable in the installation of Steel pipe, CPVC, Copper, C-900 & ductile iron pipingSkills/Qualifications:Install Sprinkler mains and line piping using a variety of materials (Sch. 40 & Sch. 10 black and or galvanized pipe and fittings, CPVC pipe and fittings) per blueprint specificationsInstall a variety of Sprinkler Systems (Wet, Dry, Deluge, Pre-action, Fire Pumps) per blueprints, specifications and building codesInstall valves, devices and trim for system risers, alarm valves, dry pipe valves, Pre-action valves, and Backflow Prevention devicesInstalls sprinkler heads for a wide range of applications per blueprint and knowledge of applicable sprinkler codesProficient in the use of Pipe Threaders, Groovers, hand and power toolsBe knowledgeable and adhere to all OSHA and CFPs Safety StandardsHigh School Diploma or equivalentCapable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.Ability to solve problems using NFPA codeAbility to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirementsDemonstrate a high level of customer service, xaygatp strong organization skills, and positive attitudeAbility to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all timesPossess a valid drivers license and driving record that meets company requirementsPass a pre-employment background checkPerform other duties as assignedMust have WSP Fire Sprinkler Fitters CardRecommended to have the Seattle AS-3 sprinkler certification (if not we can help them obtain)Benefits:Commercial Fire Protection is pleased to offer a competitive compensation package which includes: Competitive hourly rate, medical and dental 100% paid by the Company, vision,401k, life insurance, pet insurance, paid time off and holidays, supportive team environment, mobile device, company vehicle, tuition reimbursement, and career advancement opportunities.
