College Summer Intern

About the Role: As a College Intern within the Insurance industry, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting various departments in their daily operations and projects. This role is designed to provide you with exposure to the insurance industry through practical experience and mentorship. You will contribute to data analysis, report generation, and assist in client communications, helping to bridge academic knowledge with real-world applications. The internship aims to develop your professional skills, industry knowledge, and prepare you for a future career in finance or insurance. Ultimately, your work will support the team’s objectives while allowing you to build a strong foundation in the financial services sector.  This position may be located remotely or within the Alpharetta, GA area. Minimum Qualifications: Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong academic performance with foundational knowledge of financial principles and insurance concepts. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage time effectively. Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities: Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to support decision-making processes. Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and client use. Collaborate with team members on projects related to insurance. Participate in meetings and training sessions to deepen understanding of industry practices and company operations. Communicate professionally with clients and internal stakeholders under supervision, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
