Senior Access Control & Video Systems Integration Lead

Lead Enterprise-Scale Security IntegrationsJoin Armorstack’s CITADEL division and take command of integrated low-voltage security projects across Southeast Wisconsin. If you thrive on architecting solutions and directing field execution, this is your platform.What You Will Do Design & PlanInterpret bid packages; produce diagrams, specifications, and network maps.Engineer end-to-end solutions spanning access control, VMS, intrusion, fire, and structured cabling.Program & IntegrateConfigure Software House, Lenel, Milestone, Genetec, Notifier, and Edwards platforms.Implement logic, access levels, alarm workflows, UI tailoring, and cross-system integrations via APIs/scripting.Optimize for uptime, performance, and minimal false alarms.Lead in the FieldGuide a 3–5 person crew; set daily priorities; uphold safety, quality, and code compliance.Coordinate with GCs, PMs, and clients; communicate progress, materials, and risks.Install & CommissionPull/terminate/test copper and fiber to TIA/EIA and BICSI standards.Deploy cameras, readers, panels, sensors, and related devices.Execute point-to-point, failover, and integration validation; deliver client training and as-builts. What You Bring5+ years in commercial/industrial low-voltage across design, programming, installation, and commissioning.Hands-on expertise in two or more platforms: Software House, Lenel, Milestone, Genetec, Notifier, Edwards.Experience mentoring or supervising field technicians.Knowledge of TIA/EIA-568, BICSI, TCP/IP, VLANs, PoE, and system integration principles.Use of test instruments (e.g., Fluke) and familiarity with NEC Article 725, NFPA 72, and IBC.OSHA 10/30 (or ability to obtain), capability to lift 50 lbs, comfort with heights, and willingness for occasional off-hours commissioning.Nice to HaveNICET I/II, BICSI Installer 2/Technician, OEM credentials.Lift certifications (scissor/boom).Experience with project management software.Associate degree or higher in a related field.Compensation & BenefitsBase pay: $75,000 – $90,000 DOE (higher possible for standout programming/leadership).Company vehicle for work use.Health, dental, vision insurance; 401(k).100% company-paid certifications (NICET, BICSI, OSHA, OEM training, conferences).Company laptop and phone; bring your own preferred tools.Overtime on larger jobs; lodging/per diem for Midwest travel; strong professional development.Where You’ll BePrimarily on client sites throughout Southeast Wisconsin (Milwaukee metro and nearby), with occasional travel around the Midwest.
