Responsible for the day to day operation of the Norcross Facilities’ Quality Management System and its compliance to ISO-9001. Actively communicates and participates in a continuous improvement environment driving enhancements to current methods policies and procedures.Minimum Education RequiredAssociate degree or higher.Minimum Experience Required2-5 Years manufacturing experienceADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications)Internal Quality Auditor certificationStrong hands-on experience with problem-solving and related toolsSix Sigma GreenKey ResponsibilitiesDay to day operation of the Quality Management SystemLead raw material control program including supply quality control and improvementMaintain equipment calibration programMaintain internal and external documentation control programSupport 3rd party quality auditsOther quality functions as determined by customer or businessKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesISO 9001 Quality Management System RequirementsInternal quality audit techniquesEffective communicator (verbal and written)Self-motivated, independent worker, strong time management skillsWorking knowledge of statistical quality control methodologies Ability to lead cross-functional teamsThis role supports fast paced operations and is expected to be able to assess risk and impact on the facility for all types of nonconformities (supplier, customer complaints, internal process deviations or product defects) and drive the impacted cross-functional partners (includes operations, engineering) to develop needed solutions.Included in the expectation is to be able to know when to escalate to ensure cross-functional teams can mitigate any high risks on time.Day to day operation of the Quality Management System which includes ensuring the rightmetrics are in place to oversee the QMS performance and the monitoring results are tracked todetermine whether improvements need to be made.Engage in best practices of change management when implementing or reviewingimplementation of a new process or changes to a process.
