Cytotechnologist (Chicago)
Pride Health is seeking a Cytotechnologist to join a team in Chicago, IL 60625. This position is 13 Weeks of contract with possible extension.Job Description:The Cytotechnologist will work independently in the laboratory, performing cytological evaluations and ensuring accurate diagnostic support for pathology services.Responsibilities:Perform microscopic evaluation and screening of gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology specimensIdentify and document abnormal cellular changes and suspicious findingsPrepare and process cytology specimens according to laboratory protocolsMaintain quality assurance and quality control standardsEnsure accurate documentation and reporting of resultsCollaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to support diagnostic processesFollow CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and facility safety guidelinesMaintain laboratory equipment and work areas in compliance with regulatory standardsRequirements:Minimum 1 year of Cytotechnology experience requiredMinimum 2 prior travel assignments requiredStrong ability to work independently with minimal supervisionExperience in hospital laboratory settings preferredCertifications & Licensure:CT(ASCP) Certification requiredAdditional Information:Location: Chicago, IL 60625Contract: 3 Months with possible extensionShift Schedule: Day Shift: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PMTravel Gross Pay: $2900 - $3000/Weekly(*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.)Interested?
