Job Description:I am seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join my small, patient-centered Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice in Mooresville. This is a part-time position in a friendly, family-oriented outpatient setting. Think, non-corporate medicine the way it should be!! The ideal candidate is professional, compassionate, and enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients while assisting in high-quality, personalized healthcare.Responsibilities:Greet and check in patientsObtain vital signs, medical histories, and update electronic health records (EHR).At times, assist physician with setting up minor proceduresAdminister intramuscular injections as directed.Prepare specimens for lab pick up.Educate patients on health management, medications, and care plans when needed.Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked clinical area.Manage medical supply inventory and assist with ordering as needed.Provide administrative support, including scheduling, referrals, and prior authorizations.Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare regulations.Qualifications:Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)- Ideally 1-2 years of clinical experienceExperience in a primary care, family medicine, or outpatient setting is preferred.Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer skills.Strong interpersonal skills with a warm and patient-focused approach.Ability to multitask and adapt in a small practice setting.Schedule & Compensation:Part-time position – Flexible hours, with potential for growth.Competitive hourly pay based on experience.Supportive and low-stress work environment in a DPC practice focused on quality over volume.
