You'll contribute to groundbreaking projects that are transforming the way the world builds and deploy high-performance infrastructure for leading global IT and tech companies.Help us define the future of scalable, resilient, and efficient infrastructure to meet the demands of tomorrow's connected world.RESPONSIBILITIESReading and understanding RFP and tender documentsReading and understanding customer requirements provided by Solution Architects and Sales teamConcept design of electrical system architecture and equipmentUnderstanding of relevant codes and standards for electrical power equipment and installationsCAD ModelingCoordination with other technical disciplines (architectural, structural, HVAC, controls, fire protection)Technical project coordination with customers and suppliersCommunication with customers in order to propose the best solutionMaking technical proposals for Vertiv modular/hybrid solutions data centersProviding electrical design documentsProblem solving and interpretation of customer requirements in proposed solutionsSupport SA and sales teamQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s or equivalent degree in Electrical EngineeringProficient in Electrical power system design3+ years of experienceGood CAD capabilities including the ability to represent layouts and electrical schematic diagrams, as well as specifics of custom electrical sub-systems associated with Uninterruptable Power Supplies, DC systems, LV and MV power distribution systems, diesel gensetsDimensioning and specification of electrical equipment and installationsKnowledge of short circuit and protection coordination study calculations and modeling toolsSolution-based thinking that will incorporate a multitude of Mechanical and Electrical components in end-customer deploymentSolid communication skills, both written and oral, to work across multiple Engineering and Manufacturing teams to bring architecture and concepts to deploymentPC skills: active user of Windows, MS Office incl.
