Scheduling Analyst
Akkodis is Seeking a Epic Cadence Scheduling Analyst/ Template Analyst for location of San Francisco, CA/ Hybrid. This is a 4-month contract Position. Ideally looking for a candidate with experience in Healthcare IndustryPay Range: $40 - $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factorsKey RequirementsHands-on experience with Epic Cadence scheduling template build and management.Basic understanding of decision trees and their impact on scheduling workflows.Experience onboarding clinicians and supporting initiatives to improve patient access.Epic Cadence Certification preferred, but not required.Strong understanding of clinical workflows, scheduling operations, and healthcare application systems.Role SummaryDesign, build, test, implement, and support clinical application systems.Collaborate with clinical users to adapt software and workflows to meet operational needs.Create and maintain documentation, protocols, specifications, risk assessments, and workflow analyses.Provide troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer service support for clinical applications.Manage provider scheduling templates and all incoming template-related change requests in Epic/Apex.Assess impacts of template changes on decision trees and organizational scheduling standards.Support provider access and patient flow through effective template management.ResponsibilitiesCreate, analyze, maintain, and support provider and ancillary scheduling templates.Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for scheduling template design and build.Analyze provider utilization reports to optimize template design and scheduling capacity.Manage provider schedule templates while ensuring compliance with organizational standards.Evaluate scheduling change requests and determine downstream workflow impacts.Identify and proactively mitigate issues affecting ambulatory access and patient flow.Support adherence to scheduling template design best practices and service-level agreements.Ensure compliance with clinical systems change control policies.Partner with clinicians, clinic administrators, and operational teams to improve patient access.Scope of WorkApplies professional clinical application skills to projects of moderate scope and complexity.Operates independently within defined responsibilities and established guidelines.Exercises judgment to determine appropriate actions and solutions.Supports small to mid-sized projects involving clinical systems and scheduling operations.Department OverviewThe Client Faculty Practice Organization (FPO) consists of more than 2,500 clinicians across multiple campuses and satellite clinics.The Client Patient Care Access team focuses on improving patient access, patient experience, healthcare value, and employee engagement.Partners with clinics, IT, marketing, and other departments to develop innovative patient access solutions.The Ambulatory Capacity Management team designs, builds, and manages scheduling templates for physicians and advanced practice providers.Provides high-level customer service and scheduling support to physicians, administrators, and ambulatory clinics.Supports patient access goals through scheduling optimization, template governance, and capacity management.Patient-Facing StatusNot patient-facing.This role primarily supports clinicians, clinic administrators, and operational teams through Epic scheduling template management and healthcare systems support.Impact on patients is indirect, through improved scheduling access, provider capacity, and patient flow management.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
