Contract onsite positionQualifications RequiredExperience with debility or de-conditioning secondary to complex medical/surgical conditions and chronic low back pain (1+ years).Valid American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) certification.Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification.Must provide: ID, Social Security Card, Physical, MMR, HepB, T-Dap, Varicella, TB test results, and Covid vaccine or Exemption documentation.OverviewThroughout the treatment process, you'll collaborate closely with patients, guiding them through various functional tasks and exercises designed to strengthen or stretch muscles and alleviate pain.ResponsibilitiesConsulting with patients to understand their physical condition and symptoms.Developing a treatment plan after diagnosing movement dysfunction.Teaching patients therapeutic exercise techniques.Providing stimulation or massage to aid in healing.Assisting patients with the use of mobility equipment such as wheelchairs or walkers.Maintaining detailed patient records to monitor goals and progress.Advising patients and their families on in-home treatment options and exercises.Common CasesDebility or de-conditioning secondary to complex medical/surgical conditionsChronic low back painCVA (stroke)Knee painTotal joint replacement (hip, knee, shoulder)Shoulder painComplex neurological conditions (non-CVA, such as MS exacerbation, Parkinson's, etc.)Details Must have at least 1 year of recent experience with verifiable references.On-the-job orientation with the first 16 hours non-billable, per contract.13-week assignment with potential for extension.Shift options:32 hours (preferred) per week, flexible between Monday and Friday, from 5:00 am to 3:00 pm.40 hours per week, with two possible schedules: Tuesday through Friday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, or Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.Note: Resumes will be maintained in strict confidentiality until such time as we engage in a detailed discussion regarding a specific opportunity, and both parties mutually agree to proceed.
