The Implementation Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless integration of Vigilant's services for new clients and providing ongoing operational support. This role involves working closely with the sales team during the sales process, managing the implementation of all services for new customers, and supporting the operational aspects of our clients' detection systems. The position will also require participation in an on-call rotation to address urgent client needs.Key ResponsibilitiesPre-Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to answer technical questions and provide expertise during the sales process.Service Implementation: Manage and execute the implementation of Vigilant's services for new clients, ensuring timely and successful deployment.Operational Support: Provide ongoing operational support for clients' detection systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal performance.Client Interaction: Serve as a primary technical contact for clients during the implementation phase and beyond, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.On-Call Duties: Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support for urgent client issues.Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of implementation processes, client environments, and support activities.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of Vigilant's services and support procedures.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience in a technical implementation or support role, preferably in the cybersecurity industry.Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and detection systems.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.Experience with on-call support and the ability to manage after-hours issues.Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
