Process Technician
Process Technician – Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $35.00/hour
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (100% Onsite)
We are seeking a motivated Process Techniciann to support research and development, operations, and quality initiatives in a fast-paced medical device environment. This hands-on role is ideal for candidates with experience in laboratory support, prototype assembly, product testing, equipment maintenance, and technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Support new product development through prototype fabrication, assembly, and testing
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration activities
Manage and maintain 3D printing operations (Prusa, Markforged, and Bambu systems)
Document testing procedures, results, and technical records following quality standards
Inspect, test, service, and upgrade equipment as needed
Coordinate shipping, receiving, and inventory management activities
Prepare product samples and training materials for field events
Collaborate with engineering teams on troubleshooting, process improvements, and product investigations
Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant laboratory environment
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in a technical support, laboratory, manufacturing, or medical device environment (relevant education may be considered in place of experience)
Experience with mechanical assembly, fabrication, and laboratory equipment
Familiarity with microscopes, calipers, digital multimeters, and related tools
Experience with 3D printing, engineering drawings, testing, or troubleshooting is a plus
Strong attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally
