This is your opportunity to join a growing company offering a competitive base salary and benefits.What’s In It For YouThe ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growthThe support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our bestThrive in a company that values sustainability, drives a safety-focused culture, and empowers through continuous improvementComprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company matching and more!What You Will DoLead an engineering team and work under broad direction.Apply advanced knowledge of technical engineering principles and practices in the identification and understanding of client requirements to manage the development of technical specifications and implement designs.Manage project financial controls and risk, ensuring projects are executed within established budget.Identify issues, problems, and opportunities to support continuous improvement initiatives.Formulate employee and department development plans for transferring technical knowledge.Advise leaders regarding the identification and resolution of complex problems.Oversee the review and validation of product requirements to determine feasibility of design constraints.Oversee the identification, evaluation, and development of engineering tools and processes necessary to meet a project’s engineering and business goals.Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments, maintaining a focus on safety, quality and reliabilityOversee the creation and maintenance of accurate ERP master data, Items, Bill of material (BOM) and routings.Oversee tolerance analysis on complex assemblies.Have hands on involvement with product development and manufacturing of rod pumps (including rod pump accessories) and plunger lift artificial lift systems (excluding the controller).Have a high degree of involvement with other engineers, as well as field and manufacturing personnelConduct failure analysis of productsIdentify current workforce strengths and gaps and communicate this information to director of operations; suggest ways to address training and development and hiring needs.Know and enforce compliance with all safety policies and procedures.Coach and mentor one or two levels of direct reports; assign work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assess performance and provide feedback to direct reports.Drive and contribute to the department's continuous improvement culture.Maintain confidentiality of all matters.Other duties as required.Pre-Employment RequirementsDrug and alcohol testCriminal background checkEducation verificationEmployment verificationMinimum QualificationsCollege, university, or equivalent degree from an accredited program in Mechanical Engineering, or related field or equivalent education and/or experience. Five years minimum of relevant experience.Experience with and oversight of designing product for machining, assembly and welding manufacturing.Proficient with and oversight of creating and maintaining ERP master dataProficient with and oversight of drafting procedures, GD&T, parametric 3D modeling, 2D draftingProficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point Ability to properly plan for the long-term development of productsAbility to listen to input and accept or reject ideas diplomatically will be a daily occurrenceStrong oral and written communication skills Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent math skills Strong organizational and time management skills, Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office suitePreferred QualificationsMaster’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field or equivalent education and/or experience. Experience with Oil & Gas IndustryOracle ERP system experienceSolidworks and Autodesk Inventor experienceMember of API Subcommittee 11 and attend API meetings related to rod pump and plunger lift artificial lift systems.1 year minimum with data visualization tools, data management, SQL developmentExperience with web development including HTML, ASP, CSS, and JavascriptPhysical DemandsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to pick, feel, and/or inspect material.
