Reports To: Service Delivery Technical ManagerPartner with the bestAs a Senior Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:Performing as Subject Matter Expert for Tubular Running Services (TRS)Being knowledgable of industry common TRS related equipment - i.e. tubular handling tools, power tongs, surface equipment, and work processesSupporting the field technically through different media (online, phone calls and technical papers)Handling special projects, iteration, & adaptation as requiredEnsuring compliance with the Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) processProviding 24/7 Support for Critical Operations in the field, as neededSharing the knowledge across the organization by submitting best practices, case histories & lessons learned to the knowledge management databaseFollowing up on field failures that requires Technology involvement and ensure that the learning is shared across the fieldRaising an alert across the Service Delivery organization whenever an unfamiliar technical issues arises on a jobCoaching other technical resources in their area of expertiseCommunicating to Engineering and Technology organization on issues and lessons learned related to different technologiesFuel your passionTo be successful as a Global Technical Support Engineer you will have:Have a Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematicsHave 5+ years of experience in TRS engineeringHave experience in 3D modeling of oilfield equipment using SolidWorks, AutoCad, Creo , etc.Displays initiative, is self-driven & flexibleHave experience in Hydraulic design and troubleshootingShow strong analytical and problem-solving skillsHave ability to develop and mentor othersAvailability on call outside of normal business hoursHave ability to travel - domestic and internationallyDesired CharacteristicsTRS operational experienceExperience in air/electric controlled mobile hydraulicsAbility to learn and use various computer tools to prepare data and visualizations for analysisAbility to work independentlyWork in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
