Fleet & Inventory Coordinator
Job Summary
The Fleet & Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing the company’s fleet of vehicles and ensuring all equipment and inventory items are accounted for, maintained, and operating safely. This role supports field operations by ensuring technicians have reliable vehicles and properly functioning, well-tracked equipment. The coordinator ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, maintains accurate inventory records, and oversees repairs and service requests for high-value equipment. Other responsibilities may be requested depending on the needs of the business.
Duties

Conduct weekly inspections on all company trucks to identify mechanical issues, safety concerns, or compliance gaps.
Schedule and coordinate routine and preventative maintenance for all vehicles (oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, etc.).
Manage all vehicle registrations, ensuring tags, stickers, and documentation are up to date.
Maintain accurate records of mileage, service logs, repairs performed, and upcoming maintenance needs.
Monitor and report on vehicle conditions, downtime, and technician-reported issues.
Coordinate with vendors, mechanics, and service providers for repairs and maintenance.
Maintain a detailed and accurate inventory of all high-value equipment including:
Model Numbers, Serial Numbers, Assigned Personnel, and Condition/Status
Conduct weekly truck inventory checks to ensure equipment is present, functional, and properly handled by technicians.
Coordinate with vendors, mechanics, and service providers for repairs and maintenance.
Maintain a detailed and accurate inventory of all high-value equipment.
Track the movement of high-value equipment items between technicians and jobsites.
Manage the repair process for damaged or malfunctioning equipment, ensuring timely turnaround and accurate recordkeeping.
Ensure that CO2 and Helium tanks at El Cajon office are full at all times for technician availability.
Skills
Experience with Inventory Control, Vendor Relations, and Repair Processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard CRM systems.
Strong communication skills
Analytical mindset
Understanding of Fleet aspects including repair, maintenance, and coordination.
Hands-on experience with warehouse experience including stocking strategies; heavy lifting may be required occasionally.
Skills in sourcing materials efficiently while maintaining cost-effectiveness; understanding of merchandising concepts is a plus.
Ability to perform process improvement initiatives.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
