A Successful Directory Services Administrator Candidate Will HaveA basic understanding of client/server, networking and internet fundamentalsA basic understanding of Windows server 2012 or HigherA basic understanding of Active Directory AdministrationA basic understanding of GPOs, Account management, domains and trusts, DNS, DHCP and server managementAn understanding of powershell scripting and how it worksBasic level troubleshooting and problem solvingThe Ideal Candidate Will HaveExperience with a hybrid environment that contains on-prem and cloud serversBasic knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and Windows server deploymentSome troubleshooting background with the ability to assist with complex problemsGroup Policy administration experienceUnderstanding of basic network security compliance and patchingExperience with VMWare virtualization technologiesSome azure cloud environment experienceKey Tasks And Responsibilities From PWS/SOWServer management to include deployment, management of security posture, and verifying core servicesAccount management to include group, permissions, and basic configurationGPO Management using NetIQ Group Policy Administrator(GPA) and native toolsRSAT tool experienceDNS record managementDHCP Server configuration and managementPatching and DISA STIGing server to maintain required complianceSites and services managementRemedy ticketing systemManage servers in VMWare virtual environmentsTroubleshooting core services to include replication and domain trustsPowershell Script deployment and creationEducation & Experience1-4 Years direct experience in the following:Microsoft Winders Server 2012 Server or higher deploymentDomain Controller deployment, configuration and managementAccount management using Active directory on-prem and Azure cloud environmentsServer management to include Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022CertificationsRequiredSecurity+, or other qualifying IAT II certification.Microsoft AZ-900DesiredMicrosoft AZ-104 Administrator Associate certificationAZ-800 and AZ801 Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure CertificationAdditional industry certifications may be required within a specific time frameSecurity ClearanceActive Secret ClearanceOther (Travel, Work Environment, DoD 8570 Requirements, Administrative Notes, etc.)The primary shift for this position is Monday – Friday between the hours of 0700 – 1700Certification requirements are subject to change per the government's direction.
