Job Title: Senior HR ConsultantLocation: Tinton Falls, New Jersey (07703)Type: 4-8 month (temporary maternity coverage)Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00 per hourContractor Work Model: Onsite (Tinton Falls, NJ) Note: Remote work is not available.Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSr. HR Consultant Key ResponsibilitiesReports to the Head of Human Resources and supported with two other HR staff members. This is a Sr. HR Generalist responsibility role.Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions (including union employees)Administer and oversee FMLA and leave of absence programs, ensuring compliance and proper documentationHandle unemployment claims and respond to related inquiriesProcess employment verifications and maintain accurate employee recordsPartner with managers to address performance concerns and implement corrective actionsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsMaintain organized documentation related to employee relations, leave administration, and complianceProvide HR support to a field-based workforceSr. HR Consultant Required Qualifications5+ years of HR experience in a fast-paced environmentStrong background in Employee Relations and FMLA administrationExperience handling workplace investigations and disciplinary actionsKnowledge of unemployment claims and employment verificationsExperience supporting union employees strongly preferredAbility to work independently with minimal training or ramp-up timeStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsHigh level of discretion and professionalismSr. HR Consultant Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in business administration or related is highly preferredExperience in construction, transportation, or similar field-based industriesHR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plusWhy This RoleImmediate impact role with strong ownershipExposure to a dynamic, field-driven workforceOpportunity to step into a senior-level HR function with autonomyJ-18808-Ljbffr
