Chemical Systems Co-Op Positions

**DESCRIPTION**In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:+ This applied science position applies chemical principles that create and develop product functionalities which are integrated and sold into Cummins' products. The position involves the research, design, analysis, testing and failure analysis of chemical-based products, including catalyst, substrates, sensors, batteries, and fuel cells.+ May include activities in problem resolution for components, products, systems, subsystems, or services.+ Supervised execution of established work processes and systems, while still developing technology or product knowledge; engages with the improvement of systems and processes.+ No direct management of people but could involve limited coordination of work amongst engineers and technicians.+ Contributes effectively toward team goals and develops proficiency in the competency areas critical to success in the role.**RESPONSIBILITIES**To be successful in this role you will need the following:+ Chemical or Electrochemical Performance Testing+ Characterization of Chemical Systems+ Simulation of Chemical Systems+ System Capability Engineering+ Product Problem Solving+ Decision Quality+ Drives Results+ Collaborates+ Communicates This position is not available in GPP database. Talent Acquisition team member will fill in the Posting description after intake meeting**Degree Programs Considered** : Bachelor's, Master's, PhD**Major Programs Typically Considered:** All Engineering Majors**QUALIFICATIONS****2026 Monthly Salary Range by Degree Level:**+ Bachelor's - $3,900 - $5,000+ Master's - $6,000+ PhD - $7,300Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range.
