We’re seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who are excited to grow their skills while making a meaningful difference in the lives of adult and geriatric behavioral health patients. In this supportive, team-oriented program, you’ll build a strong clinical foundation as you learn to complete patient assessments, contribute to individualized care plans, and promote safety and therapeutic healing on the unit. We are currently building a structured 2-month training program designed to help new graduate RNs and LPNs feel confident practicing independently. The program will include:Classroom (didactic) education + on-the-unit training, running concurrentlyA cohort model, where new grads stay together during didactic trainingSupported, hands-on unit-based training to reinforce skills in real-timeJob Qualifications: LPN New Grads WelcomeNew Graduate LPNs are welcome to applyLevel One Fingerprint Clearance Card requiredUpon hire:Current LPN license (as applicable)AHA BLS for Healthcare ProvidersCPI Certification required within 30 days of hireKnowledge of growth and development principles, including the ability to assess, interpret data, determine patient care needs, and provide age-appropriate careUnderstanding of legal aspects of nursing and the importance of accurate, timely documentation per standards, policies, and proceduresJob-Specific Duties:Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and document findingsDevelop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans with the multidisciplinary teamAdminister prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactionsProvide crisis intervention, de-escalation, and behavioral management per facility protocolsEducate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and continuing careMonitor and document patients’ physical and emotional status; report significant changes promptlyMaintain a safe, therapeutic environmentParticipate in daily shift reports and interdisciplinary team meetingsFollow infection control and safety guidelines at all timesIf you are passionate about making a difference and seeking a supportive team environment to grow your skills, we welcome your application.Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CMC Phoenix roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CMC Phoenix in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
