Mold Maker
```Duties:```
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or computer-aided design (CAD) files to determine mold specifications
- Use BOBCAD software to create detailed mold designs
- Operate milling machines, lathes, grinders, and other tools to shape and finish mold components
- Utilize electrical discharge machining (EDM) to create intricate mold features
- Perform welding and soldering tasks to assemble mold components
- Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise dimensions and tolerances
- Program computer numerical control (CNC) machines for mold production
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to troubleshoot and improve mold designs
- Maintain and repair molds as needed
```Experience:```
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Moldmaker or similar role
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and using CAD software (BOBCAD preferred)
- Strong mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations
- Experience operating milling machines, lathes, grinders, EDM machines, and other tooling equipment
- Knowledge of CAM programming for CNC machines is a plus
- Familiarity with stamping press operations is beneficial
