Our commitment to excellence is reflected in our precision, reliability, and shared mission to provide safe, affordable, and life-improving pharmaceutical products.What You’ll Do As anHVAC Technicianat KVK Tech, you will perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems that support both administrative andmanufacturing/utilityareas. You’ll troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults, support environmental control systems within a regulated facility, and ensure continuous reliability of HVAC and climate control systems under minimal supervision.Key Responsibilities: Perform scheduled preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on HVAC, refrigeration, and building automation systems Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical malfunctions in chillers, air handlers, rooftop units, split systems, boilers, and process cooling/heating loops Inspect, calibrate, and maintain sensors, thermostats, actuators, and control valves to ensure system performance Monitor, log, and trend HVAC system parameters (temperatures, pressures, flow rates) to maintain validated environmental conditions Operate and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS/BAS) and automation controls (e.g. Honeywell, Siemens, Johnson Controls, or equivalent) Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals to resolve issues effectively Support installation, startup, and commissioning of new HVAC/utility systems or modifications Record all maintenance and repair work accurately in the CMMS, in compliance with internal quality standards and cGMP expectations Coordinate with Engineering, Facilities, and Quality departments on change control, validation, and system modifications Strictly adhere to safety protocols, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and regulatory requirements Mentor or provide technical guidance to junior maintenance personnel or contractors when needed Maintain mechanical rooms, equipment areas, and workspaces in organized, clean, and compliant condition Perform additional duties as assigned to support the continuous reliability of facility operationsWhat We’re Looking ForExperience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial or commercial HVAC maintenance and repair Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or FDA-regulated environments is strongly preferredEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Completion of an accredited trade or vocational program in HVAC, refrigeration, or mechanical systems (required)Skills & Knowledge: Expertise in HVAC system diagnostics, mechanical & electrical troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance Knowledge of chillers, boilers, air handling units (AHUs), VAV systems, exhaust systems, and process cooling loops Experience with Building Management Systems / automation platforms Proficient in reading electrical schematics, control diagrams, and blueprints Solid understanding of industrial power/control systems (120/208/480V) Experience with CMMS and Microsoft Office Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and operate independently Flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends, holidays, and be on-call as neededCertifications & Licenses: EPA Section 608 Universal Certification(required) NATE certification (preferred) Valid driver’s license (required)What We Offer Competitive compensation with annual performance bonus eligibility Annual merit-based pay increases Automatic enrollment in a 401(k) at 3% pre-tax with 50% company match on the first 6% contributed Paid Time Off 10 paid company holidays Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage Professional development reimbursement Career growth opportunities Tuition reimbursement for children and childcare expense reimbursementSchedule Full-time, on-site role (primarily day shift; flexibility for off-hours, nights, or emergency support as needed) Company Description KVK Tech is a U.S.-based generic and specialty pharmaceutical manufacturer committed to developing and producing high-quality, FDA-approved medicines that improve patients’ lives through accessibility and trust.
