Sales Associate/Cashier

## Job Summary We are seeking a Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales and customer service, with a focus on providing exceptional service at the point of sale. ## Duties - Operate cash registers and handle customer transactions accurately - Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers with their purchases - Maintain a clean and organized checkout area - Process payments using various modes (cash, credit cards, etc.) - Promote special sales and offers to customers - Upsell products to increase sales revenue - Assist in restocking merchandise on the sales floor ## Skills - Experience in retail sales, including appliance, jewelry, or technology sales preferred - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues - Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling financial transactions - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, such as a grocery store or retail setting - Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently - Bilingual proficiency, especially in Spanish, is a plus for serving diverse customers Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary Pay: $12.83 - $13.43 per hour Expected hours: No less than 25 per week Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Shift: 8 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Morning shift Ability to Commute: Indianapolis, IN 46260 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Indianapolis, IN 46260: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
