Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Software Environment Monitoring Engineer to support monitoring of application environments and system performance. In this role, you will track alerts, analyze logs, and ensure smooth operations across environments.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor application and system environments for performance issuesAnalyze logs and alerts to identify potential problemsRespond to incidents and escalate when necessaryMaintain monitoring tools and configurationsCollaborate with development, QA, and operations teamsTrack performance metrics and generate reportsMaintain documentation of monitoring processesIdentify patterns and recommend improvementsEnsure compliance with IT policies and standardsSupport continuous monitoring and optimizationRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field0–2 years of experience in monitoring, IT support, or software operations rolesBasic understanding of monitoring tools and system logsFamiliarity with operating systems and applicationsGood analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience with monitoring tools (Splunk, Datadog, New Relic)Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)Basic knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash)Understanding of incident management processesExposure to DevOps practices
