Group Fitness Instructor for a Boutique Fitness Studio – Chapel Hill, NCYogasix Chapel Hill is seeking energetic and passionate Group Fitness Instructors who are eager to grow their teaching skills and become part of a dynamic team that is helping our community move, sweat, and thrive. We are looking for enthusiastic team players who love leading high-energy, music-driven classes and are excited to inspire others through movement and connection.Instructors are hired as employees (not independent contractors), allowing us to invest in your ongoing development and growth as a fitness professional.Qualities of Great YogaSix Group Fitness Instructors:Passionate about fitness and helping others achieve their goalsConfident and engaging presence with a knack for motivating othersKnowledgeable in functional movement, alignment, and safe cueingAdaptable and coachable, always open to feedback and continuing educationTeam-oriented with a positive, can-do attitudeComfortable leading a group while maintaining individual connectionEmbody our brand values of inclusivity, energy, and funJob Responsibilities:Deliver fun, safe, and effective workouts in line with YogaSix training and class formats for Sculpt & Flow and MobilityArrive at least 30 minutes prior to class timeGreet members and build meaningful connectionsSet up and reset the studio space before and after class (equipment, music, lighting)Provide modifications and encouragement for all fitness levelsSupport cleanliness and upkeep of studio spacesEngage with the community and represent our studio culture inside and outside classPosition Requirements:Prior experience leading group fitness classes (1+ years preferred)Strong communication and leadership skillsCurrent nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification (ACE, AFAA, NASM, etc.)CPR/AED Certification (or willingness to obtain)Experience with music-based formats (HIIT, strength, cardio, etc.) a plusMust be willing to teach according to YogaSix formats and standardsScreened candidates will be invited to attend a preliminary auditionMust complete online training within two weeks of signed offer letterCompensation: Class rate varies based on experience, ability, and class format(s).Powered by JazzHR
