Senior Accountant

JOB REQUIREMENTS: SHINE Technologies is seeking a Senior Accountant whowill be an integral member of the Accounting Operations team assistingin all aspects of the daily accounting activities including themonth-end close process. The Senior Accountant may be asked to assistwith financial reporting, GAAP and tax compliance matters, internalcontrols, internal and external audits and payroll. The SeniorAccountant is expected to have a strong sense of ownership, be able toidentify and implement process improvements, drive positive changeacross the organization and build and enhance partnerships betweenAccounting and other departments. The base salary range for thisposition is \$93,000 - \$115,000 per year plus a comprehensivecompensation package. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level,and location. Duties and Responsibilities: Specific duties andresponsibilities include, but are not limited to: Execution of Month-Endclose by preparing journal entries, balance sheet accountreconciliations, roll-forward schedules, and analytical reviews. Becomea subject matter expert on different accounting topics including but notlimited to cash management and cash flows, fixed assets, governmentgrants, accruals, debt and equity management, payroll & benefits,financial systems (NetSuite), inventory, product costing, expensemanagement, and revenue. Participate in process improvement projects,internal control design and testing, process automation, user acceptancetesting, and process and procedure documentation. Support AP, AR, FP&A,and other areas of accounting and finance when needed. Assist andfacilitate the development of new process and procedure as the Companygrows. \*\*\*\*\* OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor\'sdegree in Accounting 4+ years of accounting experience. Knowledgeable ofand able to accurately apply GAAP (Generally accepted accountingprinciples) to recurring transactions. Strong knowledge of the Chart ofAccounts, Trial Balance, and other financial reports. Ability to meetdeadlines and effectively manage competing work priorities. Attention todetail and accuracy, with excellent analytical skills. Excellentcommunication and organizational skills. Positive, can-do attitudeAdvanced working knowledge of Excel, such as Power BI and Power Query,Vlookup, and Pivot functions. Able to lead, follow, influence, andcollaborate with others. Embraces change and is a life-long learner.Preferred Requirements: A Master\'s degree in Accounting. CPA licenseOther related professional certification including CMA, CIA, EA, CISA,CFA, or MBA. 6+ years experience as a senior accountant or equivalentrole. Prior experience with SEC registrants, internationalorganizations, or \"Big 4\" a plus. 3+ years experience in any of CostAccounting, Internal Audit, Consolidation and intercompany, or Tax.Interest and aptitude for information technology.
