Location: Omaha, Nebraska Type: Direct Hire Job #11548 Salary: $160,000 Location Type: Hybrid Senior Software Developer We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to design and build scalable applications across a modern full stack environment. This role is hands-on and focused on delivering high quality systems that are reliable, maintainable, and built to scale. You will work across frontend, backend, and data layers using React and Node.js, owning features from design through production. This includes building user-facing applications, developing APIs, and contributing to overall system architecture. Responsibilities Design and develop scalable full stack applications Build frontend experiences using React and backend services with Node.js Develop APIs using REST or GraphQL Contribute to system architecture and technical direction Troubleshoot issues and improve system performance Mentor team members and promote best practices Requirements 5+ years of software engineering experience Strong experience with React and Node.js Experience building APIs and working with relational databases Solid understanding of full stack system design Nice to Have Experience with Ruby on Rails (legacy systems) Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and LLMs
