POSITION:Ruby on Rails Software Engineer
LOCATION: Denver, CO 80202 (Onsite role in Hybrid Model – 2/3 days onsite in a week)
DURATION: 13 Months Contract

Requirements
BS or MS degree in a STEM major, a graduate of a Development Bootcamp, or equivalent job experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in full-stack Ruby on Rails.
Minimum 1 year in React or an interest in learning a front-end framework.
Experience with Cloud Platforms like GCP or AWS and deploying applications using Docker and Jenkins.
Automated Testing: Rspec, Minitest, Jest, and React Testing Library
Relational databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL, Oracle)
Demonstrated sharp analytical abilities and proven design skills.
Detailed knowledge of modern software development lifecycles including CI / CD
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
Responsible for designing and implementing enterprise networks and related hardware/software.
Design, document, and implement systems/network architecture.
Perform assessments on existing technologies to determine performance and capacity gaps.
Establishing security (firewalls, intrusion detection), connectivity, and access parameters and providing recommendations to optimize network infrastructure.
Test and tune security devices and systems.
Program routers and switches.
Implement communications technologies (data or voice).
Manage network services from the planning phase through implementation.
Solid knowledge of routing protocols, network hardware and software, security technologies, and network infrastructure is required.
Must have 6+ years of prior experience with networking technologies.

Collaborate on architecture and design decisions at the project and system level.
Ship thoroughly tested software following best practices.
Participate in cross-team collaborations with other engineering teams, product owners, and business partners.
Write very high-quality code that is robust and easy to maintain.
Debug, diagnose, and trouble-shoot complex, production software
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $80.00 per hour
Schedule:
8 hour shift
