CNC Machinist (Large-Parts) | 2nd Shift

Position Overview Position: CNC Machinist (Large-Parts) Shift: 2nd Shift Hour: 3:30 pm – Midnight Type: Full-Time Mode: Direct Placement Pay Range: $24–$33 Industry: Manufacturing Our client is looking for a responsible CNC Machinist (large parts). This is a contract-to-permanent / direct placement position with a key manufacturing client. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machining centers for large parts. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machining centers Perform machine adjustments and troubleshoot controllers, machines, and processes Work from blueprints and specifications Select tools, and set feeds and speeds Inspect machined parts using precision hand tools Work independently with minimal supervision Operate overhead cranes for large‐part manufacturing Maintain a clean work environment within the shop floor, including tools, equipment, and machines Re‐order tools as needed Requirements High School diploma or equivalent, GED, or vocational school training 2‐3 years of experience in CNC machining, including CNC milling, CNC lathe/turning, or CNC Swiss Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
