Software Performance/Test EngineerMacon, GAContract | 3+ Months (Potential Extension)Pay Rate: $24-$40/hrOnsite: 100%Our client is seeking a Software Performance/Test Engineer to support testing, validation, and verification activities for vehicle software, embedded systems, and related technologies. This role will be responsible for executing test plans, analyzing results, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring software quality and performance across vehicle platforms.This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a Software Engineering or Computer Engineering background who enjoy hands-on testing, validation, and problem-solving in a manufacturing or automotive environment.ResponsibilitiesExecute software testing, validation, and verification activities for vehicle systems and applications.Develop and perform test procedures to evaluate functionality, performance, and reliability.Analyze test data, document findings, and report results to engineering teams.Investigate defects, troubleshoot issues, and support root cause analysis efforts.Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software engineering teams to validate system requirements.Support product development through laboratory and vehicle-level testing activities.Maintain accurate testing documentation and technical reports.Assist with continuous improvement efforts related to product quality and performance.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.3-5 years of experience in: Software testing/validation, Product verification, Experimental validation, Laboratory testing, and/or System/embedded software testingExperience working within automotive, manufacturing, industrial, or related engineering environments preferred.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Ability to interpret test results and communicate findings effectively.Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide proof of employment eligibility upon hire.U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident required.C2C/3rd parties are NOT an optionPreferred QualificationsExperience testing embedded software, control systems, or vehicle technologies.Familiarity with test automation tools, data acquisition systems, and software validation methodologies.Knowledge of product lifecycle testing and quality assurance processes.Experience supporting testing efforts in automotive or manufacturing environments.Additional InformationLocation: Macon, GASchedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PMDuration: 3+ month contract with potential for extensionInterview Process: Single interviewStart Date: ASAP
